RGPP students study in small groups called tutorials. The aim of these tutorials is to help students prepare for MA study in that subject.
Students are able to choose any subject that is taught at CEU and will receive a comprehensive introduction to that subject over ten months of study. Tutorials are taught by CEU PhD students in a seminar style - students are encouraged to discuss and critique ideas, theories, and concepts and to write up their thoughts in essay form.  A vital component oftutorials is independent study. Students will use CEU’s excellent library to deepen their knowledge, to activate critical thinking skills and to to learn how to read and research independently. By the end of the tutorial, students will be well-versed in the subject they have studied, and have a very good grasp of the study skills required for Masters programs.
