Judit Veres has a doctorate in Sociology and Social Anthropology from the Central European University earned in 2016. She holds an MA degree in Gender Studies from the Central European University. Her research interests include: politics of space, urban socio-spatial restructuring,
reconfigurations of state, economy and culture in flagship urban projects, politics of class and gender. She is currently a mentor of Sociology and Social Anthropology at the Roma PreparatoryGraduate Programme at the Central European University. Before she was an academic mentor of Sociology and Social Anthropology with the Open Learning Initiative (Olive) of the CEU mentoring refugees and asylum-seekers. She is currently a research fellow with the project ETHOS: Towards the European Theory of Justice and Fairness.
