At Roma Access Programs, Jelena pursues a five-months project that aims to develop a recruitment strategy and alumni network of the Roma Graduate Preparation Program. She herself graduated from the program in 2012.
Before joining RAP as Program Coordinator, she worked as Junior Research Fellow at the CEU's Center for Policy Studies for more than two years where she examined anti-human trafficking policy actors' narratives on Roma as a 'vulnerable group'. Her research interests are focused on critical analysis of academic and social, equality and security policy discourses on Romani women. Currently, she is also co-editing a book about the Romani women's movement.
