Short Term Intern Position at Romani Studies Program Spring/Summer 2018

CEU's Romani Studies Program (RSP) is a new academic unit at CEU, encompassing the Roma Graduate Preparation Program (RGPP) and Roma in European Societies (RES) initiative. RES is a collaborative initiative supporting efforts to improve the situation of Roma in all sectors at the local, national, and regional levels through teaching, course development and research, leadership development, and community outreach. 

The Romani Studies Program invites applications for one short-term paid internship position for 3-4 months, starting on April 27, 2018. The application is open to RSP alumni (former RGPP/RELP students).

The winning candidate will be expected to assist with the activities of the RGPP and the RES initiative, including 1. administrative support for RGPP, extra-curricular student activities and workshops/conferences 2. research assistance to various RES projects such as Roma Migration to Nordic Countries and Antigypsyism and the Judiciary as well as assistance for updating the new RSP website.

The position will entail 40 hours per week. A very good command of English, knowledge of other European language(s) as well as a proficient use of Office programs are an advantage.
